Non-Competing Lines on the same court

Did you know you can play multiple sports on the same court? This is accomplished by painting non-competing lines for different games on the same court. What we mean by non-competing is the lines are painted in different colors to avoid any confusion during play.

In the court pictured you’ll notice the tennis lines are white and the basketball lines are black.

From one side of the tennis court, you can barely even tell the basketball lines are there!

Had they both been white it may have caused a few headaches and easily thrown off your game.
